Saint-James street café

In the 1950s - 1960 s, there were 24 cafés in Saint-James Street, in La Roche-Bernard (OUest-France, 25 feb 2016).

In this café where our grandparents lived, I remember noises of the market place, when awaking in the morning, the customers' voices, our playings between the tables when the café room was empty. Sometimes a getaway in Saint-James street which, for us, looked like an excursion towards the world's end !

I prefer evoking this period with a musical atmosphere rather than with words. An atmosphere marked by a gentle nostalgia. The second part of the tune is more hopping and would evoke our short getaways towards world's end in this street.
